You send us a short inquiry with your dates, arrival airport, number of travelers and what you would like to see. Moha replies personally, usually within one business day, with a few questions and a first route idea. We then send a written proposal: day-by-day plan, accommodations by name, what is included, and a fixed land price per person in US dollars. You may revise it as many times as you need — there is no charge for planning and no obligation. When you are happy, a deposit confirms the journey and we send the final documents, arrival details and Moha's WhatsApp number.

How long does it take to receive a proposal?

A first outline usually reaches you within 24 hours. A full written itinerary with named accommodations takes one to three days, because we check availability before we promise anything. For travel during high season or over holidays, write to us early — the best small riads and desert camps fill months ahead.

Do I pay anything to start planning?

Accepted Answer

No. Planning, revisions and advice cost nothing. You only pay once you approve your itinerary and choose to confirm it with a deposit.

What does it mean that my journey is private?

Accepted Answer

Your vehicle, your driver, your guides and your schedule belong to your party alone — you never share the trip with strangers. Departure times, meal stops, how long you linger in a souk or a kasbah are yours to decide as the day unfolds. If you prefer company, we also arrange small-group journeys for up to 15 guests, but the default is fully private.

How is my personal data handled?

We collect only what a journey requires: your name, contact details, travel dates, passport details for hotel registration where it is legally required, and any dietary or health notes you choose to share. We use it to plan and run your trip, never to sell or trade. Sensitive notes — allergies, mobility, medication — go only to the specific riad, cook or guide who needs them, and only for that purpose. Will my trip be shared on social media?

Only if you say yes. We never publish your photographs, name, review or itinerary without your written permission, and a request to stay entirely private is always respected without explanation.

Who is Moha, and what does he look after during my trip?

Moha is your host in Morocco from the first message to the moment you fly home — one person, not a call center or a rotating team. He designs your route, books and inspects the accommodations, briefs your drivers and local guides, meets you on arrival, and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout the journey, day and night. If a road closes, a flight shifts or you simply change your mind about the day, he is the person who fixes it.

He hosts you personally where it matters most — arrivals, key days and the moments that need a local hand — and works with a trusted circle of drivers and licensed regional guides for the rest. Wherever he is, he is the one coordinating your trip and the one number you need to call.

What language do we communicate in?

English. Moha also speaks Arabic, Amazigh and French, and your regional guides speak English, so nothing is lost along the way.

By WhatsApp, from the moment you land until you check in for your flight home — voice notes, calls or messages, whichever you prefer. You also receive a printed and digital itinerary with every accommodation, driver and emergency contact listed.

Is Morocco safe for American travelers?

Most visits to Morocco are straightforward, and American guests travel here every week. We reduce the everyday friction: an airport welcome, private transportation with professional drivers, vetted accommodations, English-speaking guides and someone reachable throughout your trip. We also encourage you to review the current U.S. Department of State travel information for Morocco before you go. We do not offer safety guarantees — no honest travel company can.

Private travel is what we do. Your vehicle, driver, guides and schedule are yours alone. We also arrange small-group departures for travelers who prefer company.

Are international flights included?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell international airfare. We plan your journey around your flight times and can advise on which airport to fly into — Casablanca and Marrakech are the most common entry points from the United States.

What language do the guides speak?

Accepted Answer

All of our guides working with American guests speak English. Many also speak French, Arabic, Amazigh languages, Spanish or Italian. If you would like a guide with a particular specialty — architecture, food, photography, history — tell us and we will match you.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher-style, halal, allergy-related and other requirements are common. Share the details in your inquiry and we will brief every riad, restaurant and cook in advance.

What type of accommodations do you use?

Mostly small riads, boutique hotels, mountain lodges and desert camps chosen for character, comfort and genuine hospitality — properties we have visited ourselves. We work across comfortable, premium and luxury standards and will tell you honestly what each level looks like in practice.

Is Morocco suitable for women traveling alone or together?

Many of our guests are women traveling solo or in small groups. We adjust pacing, accommodation location and guiding accordingly, arrange women guides where you prefer, and stay in contact throughout the trip.

Always. Our signature journeys are starting points, not fixed packages. Days, destinations, hotels, activities and pace can all be reshaped around you.

What currency is used in Morocco?

The Moroccan dirham (MAD). It is a closed currency, so you exchange money after arrival or withdraw from ATMs, which are widely available in cities. Cards are accepted in hotels and larger restaurants; markets and small cafés are cash. We quote our journeys in US dollars.

After you approve your itinerary, we confirm your journey with a deposit and collect the balance before arrival. We will send you the exact deposit amount, schedule and accepted payment methods in writing with your proposal — see our Booking Terms for the current process.

What happens if plans change?

Accepted Answer

Talk to us early. Before travel, changes are usually possible, subject to supplier terms; during your journey, your travel designer and driver can often adapt the day. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in our Cancellation Policy and included in your written confirmation.

Is travel insurance required or recommended?

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation, medical coverage and emergency evacuation. Requirements can change, so we confirm the current position when you book.

Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?

Accepted Answer

Travelers from the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and many other countries do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days — you receive an entry stamp at the airport. Rules do change, so we ask you to confirm the current requirements with the Moroccan consulate for your country before booking flights, and we will remind you in writing with your itinerary.

Which documents should I have with me on arrival?

A passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date, your return or onward ticket, and the address of your first accommodation for the arrival card. We send you a single-page arrival sheet with your riad name, address, our phone number and your driver's details — keep it on your phone and printed.

When is the best time of year to travel to Morocco?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable countrywide. Summer is hot inland — Marrakech, Fes and the desert — and lovely on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira. Winter brings crisp days, cold desert nights and snow in the High Atlas. Tell us your dates and we will shape the route around the season rather than against it.

What should I pack, and how should I dress?

Light layers, comfortable walking shoes for uneven medina lanes, a scarf, sunglasses and sunscreen. Morocco is relaxed but modest: shoulders and knees covered is respectful in medinas, villages and religious sites, while riads, pools and coastal towns are informal. Bring a warm layer for desert evenings and mountain mornings in any season, plus any medication in its original packaging.

Is the tap water safe, and what about food?

We recommend bottled or filtered water for drinking and brushing teeth; it is inexpensive and available everywhere, and your vehicle is stocked. Food in the riads, restaurants and homes we choose is prepared carefully. If you have a sensitive stomach, tell Moha and he will steer you toward the gentler options during your first days.

Do I need vaccinations or malaria tablets?

No vaccinations are required for entry from the United States or Europe, and Morocco is not a malaria area. Routine vaccinations up to date and, for some travelers, hepatitis A and typhoid are commonly suggested. Please speak with your own doctor or a travel clinic — we are travel designers, not medical advisers.

How do I stay connected — SIM cards and Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is standard in riads and hotels and usually good in cities. A local SIM or eSIM costs very little and gives you reliable data on the road; your driver can stop at an official shop on your first day, or Moha can arrange one before you arrive. Coverage thins out in the deep desert and high mountain passes, which we plan for.

How much money should I carry, and is tipping expected?

Carry some cash in dirhams for markets, small cafés, parking attendants and hammams; cards work in hotels and larger restaurants. Tipping is customary rather than obligatory — a few dirhams for small services, and for drivers and guides at the end of your journey if you were happy with them. We will send you a simple, honest guide with suggested amounts so you never have to guess.

What happens when I land in Morocco?

You are met inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, helped through the airport and driven to your first riad. Moha welcomes you, introduces your driver in person and walks you through the plan for the coming days. If a flight is delayed, we track it and adjust the pickup — you do not need to do anything.
