Cancellation Policy
Plans change. Here is how we handle it, and what we can and cannot refund.

Cancelling your journey
Please tell us in writing as soon as you know. The date we receive your written notice is the date we use. The following scale applies to the total journey cost:
- More than 90 days before arrival: 75% refund.
- 90 – 45 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- 45 – 30 days before arrival: 25% refund.
- Fewer than 30 days before arrival or no-show: no refund.
Non-refundable elements
Some riads, camps, festivals and special experiences have stricter conditions, particularly in high season and around holidays. Any such terms are stated clearly in your written confirmation before you pay a deposit.
Changes instead of cancellation
Where possible we would rather move your journey than cancel it. Postponement is often possible subject to supplier terms and any seasonal price difference.
If we have to cancel
If circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent your journey from operating safely, we will offer alternative dates, a comparable alternative, or a refund of amounts we are able to recover from suppliers.
Insurance
This is why we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation and interruption coverage. It protects you in situations neither of us can control.
