Booking Terms

Written plainly, so you know exactly how a journey is confirmed and paid for.

Last updated: [Month DD, YYYY]

1. Proposals

Requesting an itinerary is free and creates no obligation. Proposals are held for 7 days; after that, availability and pricing may change. All prices are quoted per person in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

2. Confirming your journey

Your journey is confirmed when you accept the itinerary in writing and we receive your deposit of 50% of the total. We then send a written confirmation listing every accommodation, transfer, guide and included experience.

3. Payment

  • Deposit: 50% of the total at confirmation.
  • Balance: due 45 days before arrival. Bookings made within 45 days of arrival are paid in full at confirmation.
  • Accepted methods: Revolut transfer or standard bank transfer. We do not take card payments and never ask for card details by email or WhatsApp.
  • Currency: journeys are priced and settled in US dollars; euros are possible on request at the rate stated on your confirmation.
  • Bank, Revolut or currency-conversion fees charged by your provider are your responsibility.
  • If the balance is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled under our cancellation policy.

4. What is included

Your written confirmation is the definitive list. Unless it says otherwise, your price includes private ground transport with your driver from the moment you land, accommodation with breakfast, licensed local guides for scheduled visits, entrance fees for the visits named in your itinerary, and WhatsApp support with Moha throughout your stay.

Not included: international and domestic airfare, travel insurance, visas where applicable, lunches and dinners not named in the itinerary, drinks, optional activities added on the road, gratuities, laundry and personal expenses.

We do not sell or book air tickets. We advise on routes and airports, and our care begins the moment you land in Morocco.

5. Changes, substitutions and force majeure

Before departure, we will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to supplier availability and terms; any resulting cost difference is passed on without markup where possible.

Riads and camps are small and occasionally oversell or close. If a property becomes unavailable, we replace it with one of equal or higher standard and tell you before you travel whenever we can.

Weather, sandstorms, flooding, closed mountain passes, strikes, flight disruption, illness or decisions of local authorities can require us to reorder or replace parts of the route. In those cases we protect the spirit of the journey and your safety first, and we do not refund elements that could not be delivered for reasons outside our control.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Valid travel documents and any required entry permissions.
  • Accurate names, dates and traveler details.
  • Disclosure of medical, dietary, mobility or accessibility needs before travel.
  • Travel insurance is required for every traveler and must cover medical care, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation. Please send us your policy number before departure.

7. Health, fitness and active experiences

Some experiences carry ordinary risk: High Atlas trekking and the Toubkal summit, gorge climbing, camel treks, horseback riding, quad biking, surfing, kitesurfing, paragliding and hot-air balloon flights.

You confirm that each traveler is in adequate health for the activities chosen, and you tell us in advance about heart, respiratory, back, pregnancy or mobility conditions. Activity providers are independent, licensed operators; their own safety rules, age and weight limits apply, and a guide may pause or cancel an activity for safety or weather. Children remain under the supervision of the adults traveling with them.

8. Our responsibilities and limits

We plan your journey with care and select suppliers we trust. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, strikes, flight disruption, illness or acts of authorities. Where such events affect your journey, we will work to find suitable alternatives.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services you booked with us and does not extend to airfare, insurance claims or consequential losses.

9. Complaints

Please tell us during your journey so we can act immediately. If something remains unresolved, write to hello@moroccobyheart.com within 30 days of your return, with your booking reference and any photos or receipts. We confirm receipt within 7 days and give a full written answer within 30 days.

10. Governing law

The organizer of your journey is My Magic Moroccan Tour SARL. These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, with jurisdiction in Marrakech.

This page is a working draft. Bracketed items and any legal review required for your jurisdiction will be completed with verified company and legal information before publication.
